It's currently written in MEL, so it's Maya-dependent for now. I'm re-writing it in Python so it can be a stand-alone program that could interface with any software capable of accepting port commands or ASCII data files.
This blog will document the progress of my Master of Fine Arts in Animation thesis. The aim of rotoCap is to create a motion capture framework which could be used by anyone with Autodesk Maya.
